Pivex for Traders:
One Set of Rules

The rules at Pivex are the same for every trader, and what changes with experience is how you prepare and which account size you pick.

The Same Rules for Every Trader

At Pivex, a trader with ten years of screen time and a trader in their first month take the same Challenge. There is one phase, one profit target and one set of loss limits. Nobody gets a softer version or a stricter one.

Profit target
10% of the starting balance
Daily loss limit
4%, renewed every trading day at 00:00 UTC
Maximum loss
6% of the starting balance, static
Minimum trading days
5, each with at least one trade
Time limit
None
Consistency
Largest trading day under 50% of total profit

The rules do not change with account size. Only the dollar value of each limit and the price change. On a $10K account, the 6% maximum loss is $600; on a $100K account, it is $6,000.

What Changes With Experience

Since the rules stay fixed, the real difference between traders is what they bring to the Challenge. Two things matter most.

  • Preparation: how well you know the platform, your setups and your own habits when a trade moves against you.
  • Account size: how much dollar room the limits give you, and what it costs.

A newer trader and a seasoned one can both pass. They usually get there by different routes, and the three paths below describe each one.

Three Paths:
Beginner, Intermediate, Professional

Beginners

If you are new to trading or new to prop firms, start with the basics: what a simulated account is, how the loss limits work and how to size a trade. Pivex Academy covers these basics, and the beginner guide lays out a plan for your first 30 days.

Intermediate Traders

You already trade, but you have not passed an evaluation yet, or you want to move up in size. The focus here is a repeatable process: planning around the daily limit, using the 5 trading days well and reviewing every session.

Professional Traders

You have a tested approach and want room to run it. The professional guide covers the $100K account, rewards, the scaling plan to $1,000,000 in simulated capital and the rules at each stage.

Which Prop Firm Account Is Right for Me?

There is no single right answer, but your experience points to a sensible place to start. Use the table to think it through. It describes an approach, not a result.

A starting point only. Every size uses the same rules, and results depend on your own trading.

How Pivex Membership Works

Pivex Membership is a monthly plan. It renews every 30 days and adds a new Challenge account each cycle. Accounts you have not started yet are saved as credits for 3 months, and after crossing a loss limit you can activate a saved credit instead of paying again. Billing stops when you pass the Challenge and complete verification.

What Every Trader Gets

Every account, at every size, comes with the same tools and the same support. None of it depends on how long you have been trading.

  • Match-Trader, a web-based platform with TradingView charts built in. It runs in Chrome, Firefox or Safari on a computer or phone, with nothing to download from a store.
  • A dashboard at app.pivex.com that tracks every Challenge objective in one place.
  • Pivex Academy: 4 modules and 18 short lessons with quizzes, about 1.5 hours in total, with a certificate at the end.
  • Support 24/7 by live chat and by email at support@pivex.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the rules different for beginners and experienced traders?

Which prop firm account is right for me?

It depends on your experience and the way you trade. A smaller Membership account keeps the entry price lower for newer traders, while traders with a tested process may look at $50K or $100K.

Is there a time limit on the Challenge?

No. You need at least 5 trading days with at least one trade each.

Can I hold more than one account?

Who can join Pivex?

Individuals aged 18 or older can join. Company accounts are not available.

Is Pivex a broker?

No. Pivex is a prop trading firm, not a broker, and it does not provide investment services. Accounts are simulated and run on real-time market data.
